Charles Farnsworth Pierce was the eldest son in the large family of Solomon and Mary (Polly) Pierce. Born in 1811, he was a shoemaker in Jericho, Vermont. He married Mary Bates in Richmond, VT, in 1832.[1]
He died in Jericho in 1864.
