1835 - paid taxes in Green's Creek, Lawrence Co., Ms. (now Jefferson Davis)

Seaborne Pierce joined Ebenezer Baptist Church, Cov. Co., (now Jefferson Davis) Ms. Oct 27,1837. He was excluded on Aug. 2, 1839 along with his brother-in-law-, Lawrence Blackwell, for lying. They were both later reinstated. Seaborne was dismissed by letter on July 2, 1842.

He owned the following property;

Jan. 5, 1841 - 39.71 acres, S18, T5N, R18W, Nw1/4 of NE1/4, (now Jefferson Davis Co., Ms.

Jan. 5, 1841 - 79.90 acres, S33, T5N, R19W, W1/2 of NE1/4, Marion Co., Ms.

Jan. 5, 1841 - 40.02 acres, S33, T5N, R19W, SE1/4 of NW1/4, Marion Co., Ms.

April 2, 1860 - 159.80 acres, S10, T6N, R13E, NE1/4, Newton Co., Ms.

July 2, 1860 - 79.90 acres, S10, T6N, R13E, E1/2 of NW1/4, Newton Co., Ms.

Seaborne received a land grant in Texas, and the family loaded the wagons and headed West, but Susannah died on the way. They returned to Newton County, Ms. and buried her, and then later went on to Texas to claim the land.

1860 Freestone Co., Tx. census, with a new wife named Bernice J.

Oct. 31, 1862 - he married Nancy Minerva Price in Henderson Co., Tx.
