Biography

Azilee Pierce was born in Campbell County, Tennessee on 14 Sep 1910. She was the third child of David Anderson Pierce (25 Apr 1887) and Easter Smith (12 Oct 1883). She had six brothers (Charlie Pierce (ABT 1905), Sillious Pierce (ABT 1906), Harrison Pierce (ABT 1913), Lincoln Pierce (ABT 1919), Joe D. Pierce (ABT 1921), John Pierce (ABT 1924)) and two sisters (Theresa Pierce (ABT 1917), Ellen Pierce (ABT 1925)).

When she was 52 years old, her father David Anderson Pierce died (11 Sep 1963). When she was 61 years old, her mother Easter Smith died (05 May 1972).

On 06 Nov 1928, she married Luke Heatherly (04 Nov 1904) in Campbell County, Tennessee.^[1] She was 18 years old when she married Luke Heatherly, who was 24 years old at that time.

In 1920, she is found living in Civil District 1 of Campbell County, Tennessee according to the United States Census.^[2]

On 04 Jul 1995, she died in Campbell County, Tennessee when she was 84 years old. In 1995, she was buried in Demory, Campbell County, Tennessee.^[3] Her husband Luke Heatherly died on 28 Mar 1965, 30 years before her.
