My dad was Carlos Mariano Pierini His parents were: Maria Pierini (Skwiurt) Born 1900 Mariano Pierini Born 3/5/1889

Both from Perugia Italy My grandparents were the only members that I am aware of that came to the USA from Italy

My mother was Aurora Mercedes Rodriguez (Picallo) from Ferrol Spain Her parents were Mercedes Aurora Picallo Alexander Rodriquez also from Spain

Ciao! This is just a general check-in for members of the Italy project. I am checking to see who is still interested in being a member of the project as we go through some much needed restructuring. I was also wondering what teams you would like to be on. We’ve created teams for each part of Italy. North, South, Islands etc. They will be explained further in an upcoming g2g post. Stay tuned. For now, please let me know if you are still interested in the project and if you’d like to be a member of a team.

I am interested in a team, however, my grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousin are from Umbria, Perugia, Gubbio, which I would consider the middle. So not sure which team I would be best served by.
