Patience was still married to Isaac Scriven 1772 when he applied to the Quakers to hold the Monthly Meetings in his home as he was too infirm to attend otherwise. Patience was disowned by the Quakers April 12, 1777. Her daughter Susannah was disowned by them November 13, 1779. All this was the Lower Falling Creek Quakers.
