Biography

This profile is part of the Pike Name Study.

George Pike was born on February 21, 1724/5 in Truro, Barnstable, Massachusetts Bay Colony. He was the son of Leonard and Ann (Snow) Pike.

George married Elizabeth Lombard on November 23, 1758 in Truro. In their marriage record they are both recognized as being "of Truro." They were married by the Rev. Caleb Upham, pastor of the church in Truro.

They had at least four children: Eliza b. 1761.; Mary b. 1762; Leonard b. 1764, d.y.; and Linard b. 1768.

George passed away on November 20, 1765 in Truro. He is buried at the Old North Cemetery in Truro.
