Sarah died in 1794, in the 77th year of her life, apparently killed by falling from a horse. She was buried at Francis Chase Cemetery, Newton, Rockingham County, New Hampshire.

Research Notes
According to the notes on the birth records of each child, Sarah Pike was born only 7 months and 16 days after the birth of her brother, Solomon Pike. Perhaps Sarah was born prematurely; no records have been found to refute the childrens' respective birth dates.
