Edward Caleb "Eddy" Pike, son of Caleb Pike and Ethel Grace Bricknell, was born on 9 Dec 1903 at Beaconsfield, Tasmania, Australia.

Edward suffered from epilepsy, and was admitted to Lakeside hospital in Ballarat for care on 9 Jan 1922. He died on 21 May 1926 after suffering a series of epileptic fits. He was buried in the Ballarat New Cemetery (plot: Methodist E, Section 3, Row 2, Grave 52), Invermay Park, Ballarat.
