Agnes Pilditch was baptized on March 31, 1765 in the All Saints Church, South Milton, Devon. She was the daughter of Jonathan Pilditch and Elizabeth Woolridge. She married Richard Rider on June 19, 1790 in South Milton, Devon. They had 8 children who were baptized in the All Saints Church, South Milton.
In or before 1824, Richard & Agnes emigrated to Prince Edward Island, as did at least three of their children. They settled in Charlottetown Royalty, where Richard and son John purchased two lots of land and were granted two additional lots.
Agnes died on November 25, 1833 in Charlottetown. She was 69.
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Agnes by comparing test results with other carriers of her mitochondrial DNA.
