Thomas was Captain of a dredge line.[4][1] He had been in Augusta about 2 months, when he died.[1] His body was returned to Savannah, where it is buried in Hillcrest Abbey East Cemetery, Savannah (Chatham County), Georgia.[6]
Thomas's FindAGrave memorial has him also connected to his son, Thomas Pinckney's wife.[6] This is clearly incorrect and may get fixed in the future. 6 Aug 2023.
