Biography

Philippe Pinet was born around 1702 (between the censuses of 1701 and 1703). [1] He was the son of Philippe Pinet and Catherine Hébert. The family was recorded at Minas in 1701,[2] 1703,[3] and 1707[4]

He married Elisabeth Michel around 1726 in Acadie. No names were given by Stephen White for her parents.[1]

Philippe passed away on 18 January 1733, just 2 weeks after his wife, and was interred the next day above the homestead ("habitation") of deceased Jean Martin in Louisbourg.[1][5]
