Richard Pinkham was the son of Shubael Pinkham and Abigail Bunker. [1] According to Sinnett, his birth records provide conflicting information on who he married.
One says: "Married Miriam Gardiner, who was a double descendant of Joseph Austin of Dover, N. H. Another correspondent: "Richard Pinkham married, Sept. 1742, Miriam Coffin, daughter of Samuel Coffin and Miriam Gardiner." It turns out both are mostly correct. See Miriam [Coffin-1021] for the details [2]. He lived in Washington, Dutchess County, NY in June 1796 where his probate records were executed. Sons and Executors: Samuel Pinkham, Ebenezer Pinkham. Daughters: Rhoda Ward, Lydia Mosher, Mary Coffin, Phebe Arthur.
