From my mother’s personal records.
Bessie Edna Pinkham was born in Ellsworth ME on September 29, 1927, one of four children of Louisa Mae Gray and Byron Herbert Pinkham. She passed away June 1989. Bess graduated from Ellsworth High School and moved to Washington DC to work at the Pentagon as a secretary. She later worked for the GAO and then as a legal secretary for Harry James Harth, whom she married.
