Mure, Virginia P. "Auntie Virgie" (Nee Piotrowski) Entered God's loving arms on October 22, 2009 at the age of 86. Loving sister of William (the late Beatrice) Piotrowski, Kenneth (Carol) Piotrowski, Theresa (Joe) Young, Cecilia (William) Hinz and Carol (Michael) Baas. Sister-in-law of Patricia Piotrowski. Also survived by many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by her parents Frank and Cecilia Piotrowski, her siblings Eugene, Jerome and Ronald Piotrowski, Sylvia Haberski, Dorothy Plewick, Joyce Toombs and Rose Donnelly, and nephews David, Jerome and Nathan Piotrowski. Auntie Virgie was a MPS retiree after over 35 years of service. Visitation Monday, October 26, 2009 from 930am to 11am at the MAX A. SASS & SONS FUNERAL HOME with a 11am Funeral Service. Interment St. Adalbert Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the charity of your choice appreciated.^[1]

Biography

Virginia enlisted in the U.S. Women Army Corps 11 Jul 1944. The terms of enlistment were: duration of the war or other emergency, plus six months, subject to the discretion of the President or otherwise according to law. ^[2]
