Catherine Ann Piper was likely born on 17 or 18 March 1805 in Amberson Valley, located in Fannett Township, Franklin County, Pennsylvania.

From at least 1850 on, Abraham and Catherine farmed and resided in Taylor Township, Fulton County, Pennsylvania. He died there on 27 Jan 1882 and was buried in the Center Cemetery. Catherine died on 8 Jan 1888 in Fulton County and was buried with Abraham.[3][4][5][6][7]
