Married Crescentia Rieter.[1]

Children ______. Grandson Willibald Imhoff (1519-1580), art collector.[2]

"Willibald Pirckheimer (5 December 1470 – 22 December 1530) was a German Renaissance lawyer, author and Renaissance humanist, a wealthy and prominent figure in Nuremberg in the 16th century, and a member of the governing City Council for two periods. He was the closest friend of the artist Albrecht Dürer, who made a number of portraits of him, and a close friend of the great humanist and theologian Erasmus."[3]

Willibald Pirckheimer continued his humanistic studies throughout his life, teaching himself Greek to a level at which he could skillfully translate it into Latin. He also became friends with many cultural and intellectual leaders of Germany, including the painter Albrecht Diirer (who was also from Nuremberg), and the Dutch humanist scholar Desiderius Erasmus; they corresponded with him and joined the Pirckheimer sodality when they were in Nuremberg. Willibald’s letters to them survive and provide much information about the personal and intellectual connections among Germany’s leading thinkers.

My wife's father and great grandfather, centuries later than Willibald Pirckheimer. Sorry I wasn't clearer was just commenting on his first name.

Oh,

I believe his wife to be Crescentia Pirckheimer (Rieter) and his sister was Charitas Pirckheimer this was my findings but can’t add them myself. I just put few references found so they can build profile. He was pretty famous. Sorry got confused there lol.

No idea if she's related, actually would doubt it, as we don't have her tree built near that far back. But her father and great grandfather were both Willibalds, not a common given name. I actually found her great grandfather in a US census where they had eluded us by searching ONLY on Willibald and just three came up. They were transcribed incorrectly. What should have been Pattermann was indexed as Battermann, which it kind of looked like!
