Andrew Sr. was born on Jan 02, 1593, in Hingham, Norfolk, England. Son of Admiral Henry Pitcher and Sara Elizabeth Pitcher ~ Andrew Followed his father, Admiral Henry Pitcher, into the English Navy. He also made the Rank of Admiral. Andrew Sr. married Agnes Blatch on Oct. 29 1618 in Stepney, Middlesex, England. Agnes was born in 1597, in Ratchcliffe, Shipright, Middlesex, England. Andrew Sr. & Agnes are the parents of 2 Sons. John 1619 - 1654 and Andrew Jr. April 1621 - 1660 ( Andrew Jr. is our ancestor ) Andrew Sr. was the First of Our Descendants to migrate to America from England with his two sons John and Andrew Jr., after the death of his wife Agnes (age 24) in 1621 England. Andrew Sr. and his 2 sons were highly probable passengers on the ship, Mary and John, that arrived in America on about June 1, 1630. A complete passenger list for the ship Mary and John has never been discovered. Andrew Pitcher Sr. was one of 10 original settlers receiving grants of 3 acres "up on Naponset," based on a land grant issued to Andrew Pitcher, recorded in Dorchester, dated September 1, 1634. It is also recorded in Dorchester that Andrew Pitcher received land grants in 1637 & 1647
Andrew Sr. passed away on February 19, 1661 (age 68 ) in Dorchester, Suffolk County, Massachusetts. Agnes passed away in April 1621 ~ Age 24 ~ Giving Birth to Andrew Jr. or Shortly after his Birth in Worchester, England.
