Wilson Pitre was born in 1908, the son of Lezime Pitre and Caroline Courville. Wilson married Ivy Bell in 1926 and they had a son together before her tragic passing at only eighteen years of age on 5 April 1928.
Wilson never remarried. He lived with his parents again, only 22 a widower in 1930. His son went on to marry, be a United States Veteran, father and Grandfather.
Wilson passed away in 1973 in Kinder, Allen Parish, Louisiana, United States and was laid to rest next to Ivy at the Green Oak Cemetery, Kinder, Allen Parish, Louisiana, United States of America.
