Biography

About his name: It is spelled Toussaint in general in France. It is spelled Tousaint on the 1880 Census ; Toussant on the 1900 Census; Tusan on the 1910, 1920 and 1940 Censuses; and Tousan on his tombstone. I went with Tousan here because that's what's on his tombstone.

He is buried in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Saginaw, Michigan.
