Joseph (23) married Marie Euphrosine Beaupré (20) (born on August 16, 1842 in Québec, Québec, Bas-Canada; daughter of Joseph (Beaupre) Beaupré and Euphrosine Duquet) on October 20, 1862 in Québec. Their daughter was Zoe Pitre (April 20 1865 – March 5 1939).


Joseph died on September 19, 1865 in St. Jean Baptiste, Montreal, Quebec, aged 26.
