Pitre-2731 and Pitre-1951 appear to represent the same person because: These two Marguerite's are the same person and should be merged
Pitre-2731 and Pitre-1951 do not represent the same person because: The couples were married in two different provinces a decade apart. They were born in different parts of New Brunswick. More research is needed to merge.

Hi. I figured out the issue. The Marguerite Pitre who was the daughter of Jean Pitre and Marie Rose Doiron married Andre Gallant about 1807 and they were having children together until 1818 when their last child was born. Marguerite died sometime between 18 Jan 1830 and 6 Sep 1831 and husband Andre was still alive in 1832 when he remarried to Gertrude Bernard in PEI as your correct profile suggests. Marguerite could not have married Joseph Hache dit Gallant in New Brunswick in 1819 as that other profile states (Pitre-22731). Source Bernard, Jean. Généalogie des familles acadiennes de l'Île-du-Prince-Édouard, c. 1764 - c. 1900, Baie de Malpèque, Î.-P.-É, 2009, Vol 6 P, pgs 3738-3740. I commented on that other profile (Pitre-2731) to suggest the parents Jean Pitre and Marie Rose Doiron should be removed from that Marguerite's profile.
