Pierre Martin Pitre was born in June, 1853 in Saint Landry, Evangeline, Louisiana, United States, son of Louis Pitre (1810–1892) and Marie Adele Vige (1811–1880).[1]

In 1880, Pierre Martin (27) Petre was living in Hickory Flat, Calcasieu, Louisiana. [2]

Pierre (39) married Marceline Miller (38) (born in February, 1854 in St. Landry, Louisiana; daughter of Eloi Miller and Marie Bertrand) on January 3, 1893 in Jennings, Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana. Their children were:

In 1900, Pierre was living in Hickory Flat, Louisiana[3]

In 1920, Pierre was living in Allen, Louisiana. [4]

Pierre died on July 16, 1933 in Kinder, Allen, aged 80.[5]
