Research note: The information below seems to reference a different Marie Pitre (I have added the references to the Census Data mentioned). The Marie Pitre in these census entries are the correct ages, however, the other names in the household do not match the names in the information posted above regarding parents and siblings.
Records show residences in Terrebonne, Louisiana (1850) [2]as well as Calcasieu, Louisiana, (1860 Census). [3]
