Etienne Pitre is a descendant of an Acadian

Descendant of First Nations Germain Doucet.

Etienne Pitre was born in about 1797 [1]and was the son of Pierre Pitre and Marthe Gallant.

He married Marie Doiron on September 21, 1819.[2] at St Augustine Church in South Rustico, Prince Edward Island.

He passed away in 1879 and was buried in the Rustico Cemetery on March 22, 1879.[3] The cemetery is located at Saint Augustine's Catholic Church, 2190 Church Rd, North Rustico, PE C0A 1X0, Canada

Note: The exact date of death is unknown, the burial record only records the date of the burial. In 2015, my son and I walked through the cemetery trying to locate his headstone but did not have any luck (Katherine Wall).
