Celestin Pitre dit Lajambe was born Feburary 8, 1818 and baptized the following day in St-Jeanne-de-Chantal, L'Île de Perrot, Lower Canada. [1]

He was the son of Pierre Pitre dit Lajambe and Marie Prejean [2]

He married Emilie Patenaude May 25, 1841 in Ste-Martine, Canada-East [3]
