Birth

Charles Pitre was born on February 7, 1807 in Opelousas, St. Landry, Louisiana, son of Charles Francois Pitre (1781–1846) and Catherine Vige (1788–bef. 1835).

Baptism

Charles Pitre was baptized 1 Mar 1807 when 3 weeks old. [1] He was the son of Charles Francois Pitre and Catherine Vige. He married Josephine Joubert on 8 July 1828. [2] He died on 6 Nov 1866. [3]

Charles (21) married Adelphine Josephe Joubert (13) (born August 4, 1814 in Opelousas, St. Landry Parish; daughter of Jean Baptiste Joubert (1776–1821) and Marie Louise Adelaide (Ledoux) Joubert (1780–1821)) on July 8, 1828 in Opelousas.

Death

Charles died on November 7, 1866 in Opelousas, United States, aged 59. He was buried in Saint Landry Church Cemetery, Opelousas.[4]
