Beware: This Jean-Baptiste Pitre, son of Claude Marc Pitre and Elisabeth Guerin has been confused with Jean-Baptiste Pitre, son of Claude Jean Pitre and Marguerite Doiron. Jean-Baptiste Pitre. The marriage record for Pitre-2051 show the correct man who married Félicité DAIGRE and emigrated to Louisiana.
Jean-Baptiste Pitre, son of Claude Marc Pitre and Elisabeth Guerin, was born about 1740 in Cobeguit, Acadie.[1]

This Jean Baptiste, son of Claude Marc Pitre and Elisabeth Guerin, didn't marry Felicite Daigre. He has been confused with Jean Baptiste Pitre, son of Claude Pitre & Marguerite Doiron. Similarity of names caused a lot of confusion.
