Pierre Pitre is on the Wall of Names at the Acadian Memorial in St. Martinville, Louisiana Plaque 5-Right. Listed with him are three of his children: Francoise, Catherine and Francoise [sic Francois].[1]
Catherine Pitre was born 24 September 1739. She was the daughter of Pierre Pitre and Agathe Doucet. She was baptized 22 May 1740 at Beaubassin. Her godparents were Jean Savoye and Marie Pitre. [2]
