see also https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Space:Research_Notes_Edward_Pitt_1592-1643 This biography clearly shows that it is not the son of William Pitt and his wife Edith Cadbury (Edward Pitt MP) nor is he a straightforward duplicate of Edward Pitt (https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Pitt-71) since he has a different career I have removed birthplace of Stratfield Saye for which there is no evidence and detached from parents.

He was originally linked as a son to William Pitt and Edith Cadbury (https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Pitt-70) . Both of whom have an alternative well documented history to this family yet very strangely have an almost identical set of children.

11th Great Grandfather was shown as a Magistrate -he was Roman Catholic. Married Adele Blythe Woodsworth and Fathered 16 children. Male children were raised Roman Catholic and females were raised in the Church of Scotland. There is still research on going to find information about the children's lives

12th Great Grandfather William Pitt is shown to be a ship designer, ship owner and merchant. Will did trade business in East India and Turkey according to the research done for Pitt Private Genealogy team.

He and wife Edith also died together off the Ship in the Indian Ocean. It is stated the ship was named 'Aimee' - cannot confirm this yet. William was Roman Catholic of English and French Heritage and Edith was a Methodist and Heritage was English.
