Biography

John's birth year is uncertain also. Bly (1996) and Wolph (1980) both list his birth year as 1795, but cemetery records suggest it was 1792. Yet, his brother Lawrence was identified as the oldest son in their father's will.

John Pittman household; 2 males under 10 yrs, 1 male 16 to under 26 yrs, 1 female 16 to under 26 yrs. John's age category would place his birth year between 1795-1804.
