Almira Pittman was born 17 February 1881 Beaver, West Virginia. She was the daughter of Booker Pittman and Jamima Meador.[1]

Almira and Mannie Johnson live in Shady Springs, Raleigh, West Virginia in 1900. They have been married for 3 years and have one child, Maggie, age 1 year.[4]

Also living with Almira and Mannie is a 42 year old cousin, Guy Johnson.[6]By 1930 Mannie and Almira have the 3 youngest children, Lawrence, Dallas and Eunice living with them in Shady Spring.[7]

Almira passed away 25 July 1937, Raleigh, West Virginia. She is buried next to her husband, Mannie Johnson, in the Pittman Family Cemetery, Crow, West Virginia.[8][9]
