Biography

Allen Corbett Pittman was born18 Sep 1870^[1] at Scilly Cove, Newfoundland (now Winterton), son of Robert Pittman and Martha Hiscock. He Married Jennie Tilley on 18 Jan 1894^[2] at Clarenville, Newfoundland. Alan was a Justice of Peace and also a door to Door salesman. Jenne died May 1909 and Alan married 3 months later on 17 Aug 1909^[3] to Elsie Maud Frost, at Northern Bight, Newfoundland. Now know as Hillview). He died 21 Feb 1956^[4] at Clarenville, Newfoundland and is interned in the United Church Cemetery.
