Biography

Joseph was born on 12 Apr 1885. He passed away during 1958 and was buried in the Cox Cemetery, Morrow, Arkansas.^[1][2]

1900 Census: Josiah K Pitts was living with his parents, Charles M (43) and Linnie M (33) Pitts, and seven siblings in Grayson County, Texas. The record notes that Josiah was 15 and born in Arkansas during April of 1885.^[3]

3 Sep 1905: Josiah Pitts and Miss Iva Dunagan (19) were married in Washington County, Arkansas. The record shows that Josiah was 21 years old and a resident of Odell, Crawford County, Arkansas.^[4][5]
