Lily was born in 1890 in Powell County, Kentucky, USA. She was the daughter of George Washington Pitts and his final wife, Lucinda Frisby.^[1]

Her parents split up before 1900, and Lucinda remarried.

In the 1900 census Lillia (age 10) was the daughter of George W Pitts in Magisterial District 4, Menifee, Kentucky, United States.^[2]

Lily died in Estill County, Kentucky.^[1]
