Know all men by these present that I, Dillard Pitts of the County of Hickory and the State of MO do hereby make this my last will and testament hereby revoking all former wills. first, it is my wish that all my just debts be paid out of my said estate. Second, it is my wish and desire that my beloved wife Polly Ann shall have the farm and all the personal estate after paying all my debts during her natural life and at her death it is my wish and desire and I hereby give and bequeath all my property both real and personal as follows: Third after my death of my said wife it is my wish and desire that all of my personal estate be sold and to be equally divided among all of my children after making them up equal with my son William A. D. Pitts who has recieved $400. My daughter Louisa Jane has received $173, and my daughter sarah E. has recieved $320. Fourth, it is my wish that my son, John D. have $115 , out of my personal estate that I am owing him (illegible).
I hereby appoint my wife executor of this my last will and testament. Witness by hand and seal this first day of November A. D. 1860. Signed Dillard (his x mark) Pitts.
By the request of Dillard Pitts, I subscribed his name and witness the above will. Test. H. L. Green and Jesse A. Simes
