Biography
When Dianna Elizabeth PITTS was born on June 26, 1840, in Sherman, New York, her father, Cyrus, was 38 and her mother, Harriet, was 18. She married Francis Albert PROWSE on May 31, 1860, in Nevada City, California. They had 11 children in 24 years. She died on August 1, 1922, in Crows Landing, California, at the age of 82, and was buried in Newman, California.
