Susan "Sarah" Pitts, daughter of of Martin James Pitts (1787-1843) and Elizabeth Ray (1792-1882) Pitts, was born in Oct, 1838 in Wilkes County, Georgia, USA.[1]
She married Austin Davis, son of Crispin and Elizabeth Davis, on 30 May 1858 at Pike County, Georgia.[2]
She and Austin appeared on the census of 3 June 1870 at Pike County, Georgia.[3] She and Austin appeared on the census of 22 June 1880 at Pike County, Georgia.[4]
Austin died in 1894 and she married C. C. McCarthy on 17 June 1895.[1]
Sarah died on 17 Nov. 1912 at Pike County, Georgia and was buried at Davis Family Cemetery, Pike County, Georgia. Her memorial has biographical material and a link to that of Austin.[1]
