Eugene Johnson Pitts, age 92, of Rt. 4, Foley, Alabama, died January 15, 1966 at South Baldwin Hospital. Funeral services were held January 17, 1966 at 2 p.m. from Higgins Chapel with Rev. T. L. Butts Jr. in charge of the services. Burial followed in Pine Rest Cemetery, Foley.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Ida Jane Pitts, Rt. 4, Foley; one daughter, Mrs. Thomas O. Crutchfield, Foley, Ala.; five sons, Thomas G. Pitts, Ernest Pitts, Harold Pitts, all of Foley; Charles Pitts, Tuscaloosa, Ala.; and Roland Pitts, Magnolia Springs, Alabama.
Pallbearers were Morgan Odom, Raymond Christiansen, Robert Stiegerwald, Ray Clay, Rex Lee and Neil Stevens.
