Biography

Elijah Eugene Pitts was born on 3 February 1938 in Mayflower, Arkansas, United States.

In the 1950 census Elijah (age 12) was the son of Samuel Pitts in Danley Township, Faulkner, Arkansas, United States.^[1]

Elijah died on 10 July 1998 in Buffalo, Erie, New York, United States, aged 60.^[2]

Career

Elijah was a halfback in the NFL for 11 seasons. He played for the Green Bay Packers (1961-1969, 1971), the Los Angeles Rams (1970) and the New Orleans Saints (1970).^[3]
