Henry (Almain)was the only child of Richard and Isabel to survive into adulthood. He was cousin to Edward I and they were close allies having grown up together at Windsor Castle. Henry was murdered by his cousins Guy and Simon de Monfort sons of Simon de Monfort. As an aside Simon de Monfort Snr was killed by Roger Mortimer at the Battle of Evesham 4th August 1265
These are matter of public record - but most recently from Marc Morris' biography of Edward I 'A Great & Terrible King' published by Windmill.
