I agree with Vic, that there is no evidence for a connection to Edmund Plantagenet and his wife Blanch d'Artois, and that they should be removed as parents of this Nicholas Leicester, and that his surname should be corrected.

The surname could be corrected by completing the proposed merge into Leycester-9. Leycester is the old spelling of Leicester and should be acceptable.

The History of the County Palatine and City of Chester. Vol. 1. and A genealogical and heraldic history of the extinct and dormant baronetcies. are excellent sources. What is the issue preventing the merge, and the removal of the Plantagenet parents?

I have added the info I could find from readily accessible sources. I can find nothing that provides ANY evidence for a connection to Edmund Plantagenet and his wife Blanch d'Artois. A question was asked on G2G a year ago: Nicholas and no one came up with any source. I believe he should be disconnected from these parents. He should probably also have his LNAB corrected.
