Birth

Joseph C. Platte was born on November 22, 1878 in Peoria, Peoria, Illinois to Carl Platte and Johanna (Bille) Platte.

Marriage

Joseph C. Platte and Adilena "Lena" (Schindler) Platte married on September 27, 1900 in Peoria, Peoria, Illinois. He was 22 and a dairyman. She was 18. This was the first marriage for both. Feo B Sirchua, Police Magistrate certified the marriage. The witnesses were Ella Schindler and Frank Knoll. Frank Shindler was the informant.

Death

Joseph C. Platte died on 10 December 1927 in Logan, Peoria, Illinois, USA. He was killed in a truck accident. He was buried at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Peoria, Illinois on 13 December 1927. He was 49 years old.[3]

Westneat-3 and Platte-1 appear to represent the same person because: I inadvertently added myself twice. Original profile that I want to keep is Davis-56821. Also my siblings keep showing up as half but they are full siblings.
