Birth
Minnie (Platte) Wachter was born on November 19, 1874 in Peoria, Illinois. She was the daughter of Carl Platte and Johnanna Bille.
Marriage
Richard E. Wachter and Minnie (Platte) Wachter married on December 5, 1894 in Peoria, Peoria, Illinois. Richard was 20 and single, the son of William & Mary (Herman) Wachter. Minnie was 21 and single. The daughter of Charles & Johanna (Bille/Bitte) Platte. Richard was a marble polisher. Charles T Lancbert, police magistrate officiated. Joseph Platte and Caroline Kuck were the witnesses.
