Biography

Walter Henry Platts was born on 9th March 1887. He was the son of John Platts and Sarah Waldrom. ^{[1][2][3][4][5]}

Walter H Platts was married to Beatrice Marriott in 1913. ^[6][7]

In 1939, Walter H Platts (b 9 March 1887, a colliery labourer on top), his wife Beatrice (b 3rd Aug 1892) and five children, George H (b 1914), John (b 1916), Walter H (b 1918), Beatrice (later Walters, born 1923) and Derek (born 1935) were living at 10 Norman Drive, Hucknall U.D., Nottinghamshire. ^[8]

He died in 1953 in Bingham, Nottinghamshire. ^[9]
