Henry M. Plehn, Chairman of Peter Pan Corporations
Henry M. Plehn, chairman of the board of Peter Pan Foundations, Inc., Peter Pan Swimwear International, Inc., and International Licensing Associates, Ltd., died yesterday at his estate in Peekskill, N. Y. He was 55 years old and had a city residence at 730 Park Avenue.
Mr. Plehn was one of the first business men to recognize the possibilities of licensing in a soft goods industry. His Peter Pan enterprise, which had a sales volume of $25,000 when he started in 1939, did a business of more than $25,000,000 last year.
Surviving are his widow, the former Marion Goldstein; a daughter, Mrs. Patricia Diener, and a son, Dennis.
