Biography

Alberta Plouffe was born in April 1901 in Quebec, Canada. Her parents were Fabien and Nathalie Plouffe.^[1]

In the 1911 Canada census, Alberta Plouffe, age 10, born April 1901, was living in Wright, Quebec, with parents Fabien Plouffe (60) and Nathalie Plouffe (50) and siblings Telesphar (26) and Philoroma (12).^[1]

Alberta Plouffe married Donat Fournier in 1918 in Hull, Quebec.^[2]

In the 1921 Canada census, Bertha Fournier, age 20 (born about 1901) was living in Hull, Quebec, with husband Donat Fournier (22) and daughter Cecile (10 months).^[3]

Berthe Fournie, born 1901, died in 1997. She was buried with her husband Donat Fournier at Cimetière Notre-Dame, Gatineau, Quebec, Canada.^[4]

Research Note

Some online family trees list her baptism as 23 Feb 1896 in Gatineau, Québec, Canada. However no record is listed for this, and the other records list her as born in 1901.
