Jeanne Barbier remarried with François Abelin on 7 Jan 1681.[2]. No funeral record has been identified as his.

Note: An extreme oddity exists with the 1681 census, François Abelin is not listed in it, but his wife Jeanne Barbier is listed with her first husband and children, in the Seigneurie de Chambly as follows:

Julien Pellerault (Plumereau) 40 ; Jeanne Barbier, sa femme. 30 ; enfants : Jacques 10, Marguerite 9, Marie 8, Jeanne 6, Marie 5, Philippe 4, Pierre 2 ; 1 fusil ; 6 bêtes à cornes ; 10 arpents en valeur.[4] Julien had to have been dead already for François and Jeanne to marry in early January of that year. The original census record has been verified, it does indeed agree with the above transcription.[5]. The census is dated November 1681.
