Emma (Plumtree) Bourn was born in Belchford, Lincolnshire, England.

Emma Plumtree was born on 26 September 1861 in Belchford, Lincolnshire, her father, George Plumtree, was 31, and her mother, Ann, was 31.Raised at Moat Farm Mumby Road ,Mumby Road, Mummby,Alford. Lincolnshire. ,She worked as a housekeeper for Hugh Bourn a farmer of Mavis Enderby. Lincolnshire.( 1891 UK census) She then married Hugh BOURN in October 1900 in Spilsby, Lincolnshire. They had three children during their marriage. She died on 21 April 1943 in Navenby, Lincolnshire, at the age of 81.
