Carry Plumtree was born in December 1857 in Belchford, Lincolnshire, her father, George Plumtree, was 27, and her mother, Ann, was 28. She married George Oliver in April 1888 in Spilsby, Lincolnshire. They had five children in 11 years. She died on 22 May 1935 in Spilsby, Lincolnshire, at the age of 77.
