Biography

1399 /10 Christopher Plunket married, at Killeen, co. Meath, Genet de Cusack (also known as Joan. By this marriage he acquired Killeen and other lands. [1] & [2]

He held the office of Justice of the Peace in County Meath in 1403.

He held the office of Sheriff of County Meath in 1409.

He was invested as a Knight before 1425.

1432 to 1433 Deputy Lord Lieutenant, Ireland to Sir Thomas Stanley. [3]

Christopher Plunket, 1462 created Lord Dunsany and died 1462 / 63 with a will directing he was to buried at Killeen [2]
